DETENTION CENTER MIXING VALVE REPLACEMENT

The Cumberland County Detention Center requires a licensed plumbing contractor to replace ten existing hot water mixing valves with new domestic hot water mixing valve assemblies. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the replacement, including removing and disposing of the existing valves, procuring and installing the new assemblies, and modifying piping as required. The contractor must also provide a valve repair kit, spare parts, and 2-hour onsite owner training. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. • The mixing valve assemblies must be similar or equivalent to Leonard Valve model XL-690-LF-DTTC-IT. • The contractor must be factory authorized in good standing with the manufacturer and located within 120 miles of the project site. • The contractor must provide factory-trained technicians for installation, start-up, and maintenance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable state laws, municipal ordinances, and regulations. • The contractor must provide all necessary tools, equipment, and labor to complete the project. • The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in a safe and professional manner.
