Description
The City of College Park is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to provide kitchen renovation services for the fire department. The scope of work includes demolition, repairs, modifications, and installation of new fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, flooring, and related improvements. The contractor must be properly licensed and insured, have experience with similar office or government facility renovations, and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and safety standards. The project aims to enhance functionality, improve efficiency, modernize the appearance of the space, and ensure the kitchen meets current operational, safety, and facility standards while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing and installing a complete kitchen cabinet package
• Installing trim, molding, and finish carpentry
• Providing and installing custom countertops
• Furnishing all materials and labor required for tile installation
• Providing all miscellaneous construction fasteners and adhesives necessary for installation
• Painting and finishing materials
The contractor must also obtain required permits, maintain a safe and clean worksite, and properly handle and relocate existing furniture and equipment as directed.
