Description
The United States Coast Guard is requesting quotations for the purchase of 600 filter elements, air intake, P/N: ECB120376, NSN: 2940-01-482-8301, for use on the 87’ WPB Coastal Patrol Boat Main Diesel Engines. The filters must conform to design, materials, and operational requirements, and any attempt to manufacture these items without proper specifications, drawings, and technical data could cause equipment failure. The Coast Guard is looking for a responsible offeror whose offer will be the most advantageous to the Government, and award will be made on an all-or-none basis to the lowest price technically acceptable offer.
• The filters must be individually packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10, cushioned and packed in an appropriately sized ASTM-D5118 double-wall fiberboard box.
• Failure to meet the packing, packaging, marking, and bar-coding requirements will result in warehouse rejection and items will be shipped back to the vendor.
• The Coast Guard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
• The estimated total value of the purchase is $84,000.00.
