The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of publishing eight USGS manuscripts in an energy science–themed journal. The journal must operate under a Creative Commons or similar license that provides immediate open access and permits others to freely share, distribute, and build upon the work with proper attribution. The published manuscripts will be organized within a Scientific Results Volume (SRV) or comparable format. • The journal should have a Creative Commons or similar license. • The publisher should be able to organize the manuscripts within a Scientific Results Volume (SRV) or comparable format. • The publisher should have experience in publishing energy science–themed journals. • The publisher should be able to provide immediate open access to the published manuscripts.
