Description
Judson Independent School District is seeking a vendor to supply NIJ‑certified ballistic police shields (Level III/IV) for its police department. The shields must meet strict weight, size, weapon‑port, handle, and identification‑panel requirements, with an initial order of 22 units and potential for future orders. The district will evaluate proposals primarily on price (40 %), but also on vendor reputation, product quality, and past relationship. All required certifications, insurance, and forms must accompany the sealed proposal, which must be mailed by the deadline.
• Provide 22 NIJ Level III/IV ballistic shields (13‑20 lb, 17″‑30″ size range) with weapon‑port and removable ID panel.
• Submit unit pricing, total price (including shipping), and complete mandatory forms (A1‑A7, P, R, insurance, W‑9, etc.).
• Delivery FOB Destination to JISD campus between 8 a.m.–4 p.m., M‑F, after contract start ~20 Feb 2026.
