Description
The Ludington Area District Schools is seeking a contractor to perform roof remediation work on the Ludington Bus Garage. The project involves installing a new roof system, including a S-5 system, flute fill, and board stock polyisocyanurate insulation to meet R-30 energy code requirements. The contractor must also comply with prevailing wage rates. The project has specific requirements, such as the installation of ColorGard with matching metal edge color and facet mount and facet cover.
• The project requires the installation of a S-5 system above the 'lounge area' roughly 3' & 8' from the eve edge.
• The contractor must install flute fill and board stock polyisocyanurate insulation to meet R-30 energy code per manufacturer's requirements.
• Extruded polystyrene is not acceptable as an alternative to polyisocyanurate insulation.
• The contractor must submit voluntary alternates on company letterhead with required submittal information if the base bid system is not met.
