NNSA ADDENDUM TO DOE SAM.GOV NOTIFICATION ISSUED SEPT 30, 2025

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has issued an addendum to a DOE SAM.GOV notification issued on September 30, 2025. The addendum advises that NNSA federal employees were furloughed as of October 20, 2025, due to exhausted carryover funds. The Government will be working with a limited staff to support "excepted" activities that prevent imminent harm to life or property. Contractors that support excepted activities will receive direction from the NNSA Contracting Officer upon required notification that 80% of obligated funding has been expended.
