This Invitation for Bid calls for a qualified contractor to provide labor, tools, equipment, and travel to spray pre‑emergent and contact herbicides on approximately 1,200 acres of Caltrans right‑of‑way in San Diego County. Caltrans supplies the herbicides; the contractor must hold a current Qualified Applicator License (QAL) or Certificate (QAC), be registered with the California DIR, and meet small‑business or DVBE preferences as applicable. The work is performed on an as‑needed basis over a three‑year period, with service‑request response required within five calendar days and a minimum productivity of four acres per day.
