Tennis Shade Structure

The City of White House, Tennessee, is seeking bids for a joined hip shade structure for the Tennis Facility at Municipal Park. The objective is to provide adequate shade for players and spectators, enhancing the comfort and usability of the facilities. The shade structure must be durable, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with all relevant standards and regulations. Key requirements include a joined hip shade structure approximately 70’ long X 35’ wide, made from galvanized steel or aluminum with a powder coat finish, and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or equivalent material for the shade fabric. The vendor must provide detailed design drawings and engineering calculations, conduct a thorough site assessment, and ensure compliance with the International Building Code (IBC) and local building codes. • The vendor must provide a minimum 5-year warranty on all materials and workmanship. • The vendor must provide a detailed maintenance plan that includes recommended cleaning and inspection schedules. • The vendor must offer maintenance services for the shade structure, either as part of the warranty or as an optional service contract. • The entire project must be completed within 90 days of contract award unless an extension request is approved by the City of White House, TN. • The vendor must coordinate all deliveries and installation activities with the City of White House, TN, to minimize disruption to the facility's operations.
