REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) Municipal IT Managed Services (MSP)

The Town of Ipswich is seeking a qualified Managed Service Provider (MSP) to deliver comprehensive IT services, cybersecurity, and help desk support. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing fully managed IT services, including help desk support, cybersecurity, network management, server administration, and Microsoft 365 management. The contract term is one year from contract execution, with an estimated budget of $200,000 - $250,000 annually. The evaluation criteria include experience, technical approach, cybersecurity, staffing, references, and price. • The Town has approximately 230 Active Directory users and 376 Microsoft 365 users. • The Town has 165 endpoints and 11 sites, including Town Hall, Police, Fire, DPW, Library, Utilities, and other municipal facilities. • The vendor must provide fully managed IT services, including help desk support, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management. • The vendor must also provide additional services, such as VoIP support, vendor management, asset lifecycle management, and strategic IT planning. • The Town requires a mandatory site visit on May 13th – 14th, 2026. • The submission deadline is May 20, 2026.
