Overhaul of Gear Boxes

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a contractor to provide overhaul services for gear boxes and other components used on the HC-130J aircraft. The contractor will be required to perform a complete overhaul of the components, including repair or replacement of parts, and return them to the USCG in a ready for issue (RFI) condition. The contractor must have access to the applicable technical directives and have the necessary expertise and facilities to perform the work. The contract will be for a period of one year with four optional one-year extensions. * The contractor will be required to provide all necessary parts, materials, labor, and facilities to overhaul the components. * The contractor must have access to the applicable technical directives and have the necessary expertise and facilities to perform the work. * The contract will be for a period of one year with four optional one-year extensions. * The USCG desires early deliveries, and the contractor is encouraged to provide early shipments as long as no additional costs are incurred by the USCG. * The contractor will be required to provide a monthly status report to the Contracting Officer. * The contractor must maintain a Quality Assurance System, including test component calibration system requirements, and documentation of said requirements, sufficient to ensure that overhaul services conform to Technical Orders or OEM specifications and requirements of this contract.
