OPEN, INSPECT, REPORT AND OVERHAUL CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to open, inspect, report, and overhaul centrifugal pumps. The contractor will be responsible for overhauling 12 pumps, with an estimated cost of $33,700 per unit. The pumps are used on 154' Fast Response Cutters. The contractor must guarantee the items against defects that lead to failure for up to two years after delivery to the Coast Guard. • The contractor must comply with the provided overhaul description and warranty requirements. • The contractor must preserve and package each unit individually for protection against deterioration. • The contractor must pack and mark each unit according to the provided packaging and marking requirements. • The contractor must deliver the overhauled pumps to the United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. #88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226.
