Description
The State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a vendor to provide plumbing services on an “as need” basis at the Gaithersburg Maintenance Facility located in Montgomery County, Maryland. The scope of work includes installation, repairs, maintenance, and remodeling of plumbing systems, including water, sewer, and drain lines, as well as bathroom, kitchen, and lab fixtures. The contractor will be required to provide a licensed commercial journeyman plumber and plumber’s helpers/assistances to assist in various tasks. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting a responsive bid with the most favorable bid price.
• The contractor must maintain a current State of Maryland Master Plumbers License and provide copies of licenses and commercial experience for plumbers.
• The contractor must employ plumber’s helpers/assistances to assist in various tasks.
• The contractor must provide with its bid "Attachment L Reference Checks" with one or more references filled out.
• The contractor must guarantee all work included in the “Contract” against any defects in workmanship; and shall satisfactorily correct, at no cost to Maryland Department of Transportation SHA, any such defect that may become apparent within a period of one year after completion of work.
