Doppler Navigation Set (DNS) parts and repair

The Army Contracting Command (ACC)-Aberdeen is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for the repair of AN/ASN-157 Doppler Navigation Set (DNS) parts. The DNS is a critical sensor used to provide highly accurate navigation data on AH-64D/E Longbow Apache helicopters. The Government is seeking information from companies that can repair the listed parts or provide equivalent services. The requested information includes company capabilities, past performance, and experience in manufacturing and supplying similar products. • The DNS is integrated into the Apache Global Positioning System (GPS) and Inertial Navigation System (INS) to provide independent, jam-resistant navigation. • The use of helicopters without a fully functional DNS would present safety risks to the pilot and prevent completion of missions. • The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for the parts, and the TDP is not available for release. • The procurement history includes a previous contract with BAE Systems, which had a period of performance from Sep 2022 to Sep 2027.
