Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office East (RPOE), Network Contracting Office 4, intends to award a sole source contract to Edwards Lifesciences LLC for the provision of structural heart valves with a consignment agreement. The contract will be for a period of five years, with an estimated need of 10-15 valves per year. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of valves, delivering replacement products within two business days, and providing technical support. The government will be responsible for all expenses related to the safekeeping and use of the consigned items.
