Description
The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners is requesting sealed bids for the asphalt leveling and resurfacing of various county roads. The project includes spot leveling and overlay with 200#/sq.yd of 12.5 mm asphalt, as well as centerline and edge line striping. The contract term is 180 calendar days from the day the Notice to Proceed is issued. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid response meets the requirements and specifications set forth in the Invitation to Bid.
• The project includes work on various county roads, including Oak Grove Road, Lumpkin County Parkway, and Edwards Parkway.
• The contractor will be required to provide a 5% bid bond and a 100% performance and payment bond.
• The contractor will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive general liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
