The County is seeking a qualified contractor to execute a comprehensive intersection improvement at Cooper Road, Moon Road, and Hope Hollow Road. The work includes extensive earthwork, pavement removal and resurfacing, concrete curb & gutter, storm‑drain installation, retaining‑wall construction, traffic‑signal and ATMS upgrades, sidewalk and striping installation, and utility relocations. Bidders must provide a 5 % bid bond and 100 % performance and payment bonds, meet strict bonding/insurance standards (A‑8 or better), and submit two sealed copies of their bid. Addendum #2 revises the milling quantity (down to 1,040 SY) and adds a temporary barrier line‑item; the bid deadline has been extended to August 11 2026.
• Primary work: 0.632 mi of roadway, including earthwork (< 5,000 CY), 2,886 LF curb & gutter, 1,961 SY concrete flat work, 1,880 LF storm‑drain pipe, 1,419 TN asphalt, 219 LF retaining wall.
• Additional items: traffic‑signal installation, ATMS, sidewalks, striping, utility adjustments, erosion‑control BMPs, and temporary barriers.
• Procurement: Competitive sealed‑bid, mandatory bid bond (5 % of bid), 100 % performance/payment bonds, bonding requirements (A‑M Best A‑8+).
