Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking a contractor to perform repairs to the restrooms and conference rooms at the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) B66D building. The project includes various construction tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror that meets the requirements stated in the Statement of Work and the solicitation.
The key tasks of this job include:
* Repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and piping
* Upgrading electrical systems and installing new lighting fixtures
* Performing carpentry work, including installing new doors and trim
* Painting and finishing walls and ceilings
* Installing new flooring and ceiling tiles
* Ensuring all work is done in accordance with applicable building codes and regulations.
