CUSTOM-BUILT 20’ STEEL AND ALUMINUM BODY

The State of Minnesota is seeking a custom-built 20’ steel and aluminum truck body to be mounted on a State-Owned 2027 Freightliner 114SD Tandem axle chassis. The proposal should include specifications, cost detail, and sample transaction documents. The contract term is anticipated to be from June 2026 to May 2027, with an estimated total dollar value of $110,000 to $140,000. The evaluation process will consider factors such as acceptance of State’s Terms and Conditions, Cost Detail, and Preference Points. Some key points to consider: • The State desires open and fair competition. • Responses must be received by the due date and time specified in the RFP. • Equipment offered must meet the specifications listed in Exhibit C: Specifications, Duties, and Scope of Work of the Sample Contract and Exhibits. • The State reserves the right to reject any and all responses received, waive or modify any informalities, irregularities, or inconsistencies in the responses received, and negotiate with the highest scoring Responder(s).
