Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to provide a pump storage platform for McNary Lock and Dam in Umatilla, OR. The platform will support the unwatering pumps for the navigation lock and will be comprised of standard steel shapes and welded, built-up members constructed of plates and tube steel. The contractor must demonstrate experience in welding and inspection of structural steel fabrication in compliance with Structural Welding Code (AWS D1.1/D1.1M) standards. The work will occur offsite at a contractor's facility, and a commercial trucking company will be used to deliver the completed elements to McNary Dam.
• The platform will be fabricated using structural steel components, galvanizing, grating, and bolted connections.
• The contractor must provide a list of current or past projects demonstrating technical experience with work of a similar nature.
• The contractor must provide a reference list for each of the projects submitted.
• The contractor must provide a statement of their firm's business size and bonding capacity.
