Description
The City of Alpharetta is seeking a single qualified contractor to perform complete sidewalk repair, replacement, and ADA ramp construction along Westside Parkway, Kimball Bridge Road, and Clubhouse Drive. The scope includes demolition and disposal of existing concrete, installation of new concrete sidewalks and ramps, traffic control, utility locate coordination, erosion control, and final site restoration. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, bonds, and insurance, and must complete the work within 120 calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Bonfire portal by the deadline, accompanied by required forms, bid bond, and performance/payments bonds.
• Full demolition, disposal, and reconstruction of sidewalks and handicap ramps.
• Mandatory 5 % retainage, performance and payment bonds (100 % of contract price).
• Work must start within 10 days of notice and finish within 120 days.
• Contractor must perform at least 50 % of the work with its own workforce (limited subcontracting).
• Traffic control plan required; work limited to 7 AM‑7 PM weekdays.
• All documentation (W‑9, E‑Verify, disclosures, schedule of items) submitted through Bonfire.
