Description
The Department of the Air Force is seeking bids for the repair of NSN 5840-01-483-0555, a Shunt Regulator Assembly. The contractor shall furnish all facilities, parts, materials, equipment, and services required to inspect and restore the item to serviceable condition. The scope of work includes test, teardown, and evaluation, as well as major repair. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
• The contract requires the contractor to perform visual, mechanical, and electrical testing of the end item.
• The contractor must identify all components requiring repair or replacement and report this information to the Procurement Contracting Officer.
• The contractor must negotiate and definitize the price for major repair with the Procurement Contracting Officer.
