Emergency Bus and Paratransit Services

The County of Maui is soliciting firm price commitments on Emergency Bus and Paratransit Services for use by the County of Maui for a twelve (12) month period. The awarded contractor(s) will be responsible for furnishing services under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) structure. The County may issue one or more Activation Orders for specific services, quantities, or time periods under this contract. Each order will identify scope, period of performance, and payment terms consistent with the unit rates in Attachment 2 (Price Form). Some key points to note about this opportunity include: * The contract is for a period of 1 year, with the option to extend for up to 5 additional years * The County reserves the right to make awards on an individual line-item basis and may award the same line item to multiple responsive and responsible bidders * The Bidder shall possess Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) authority for for-hire passenger transportation * The Bidder shall demonstrate access to a qualified fleet (owned or leased), maintain current dispatch and fleet maintenance capabilities, and be able to manage and integrate services described in this IFB * The Bidder shall operate and maintain vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations * Proof of liability insurance must be provided
