The Chicago Housing Authority is rebidding the renovation of two three‑story, masonry public‑housing apartment buildings (Harding and Kedzie) in the North Lawndale neighborhood. The contract is a single‑firm, fixed‑price award covering complete exterior façade work, parking and landscaping, full interior demolition and remodel of 36 units, new MEP systems, finishes, and required environmental remediation. Bidders must submit a lump‑sum bid for each building (or a combined bid) along with a 5 % bid bond, and meet extensive M/W/DBE and Section 3 participation thresholds. The project must be substantially completed by January 31, 2028, with liquidated damages for delays.
