Gearbox Speed Reducers for the National Reconditioning Center in Grandview, MO

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to negotiate and award a purchase order for the repair of Gearbox Planetary Differential Speed Reducers. The sole source determination is based on the fact that Peerless-Winsmith is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the NEXRAD Planetary Gearbox and is the only known source of repair. The OEM owns the proprietary rights to all drawings developed for this equipment and is willing to provide certification/warranty for the repaired gearboxes. • The repair is for Gearbox Planetary Differential Speed Reducers (P/N D651229002X0WS) • The equipment will be delivered to the National Reconditioning Center in Grandview, MO • Peerless-Winsmith is the only known source of repair and is willing to provide certification/warranty for the repaired gearboxes • Firms that believe they can fully meet the government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation or a request for additional information in writing to Abigail Green within 15 days after publication of this pre-solicitation notice.
