Curb and Sidewalk Construction at Various Locations, Contract No. MS-CS-326-28

The Washington County, Maryland, Division of Engineering is seeking bids for the Curb and Sidewalk Construction at Various Locations project. The project includes concrete curb, sidewalk, and ADA ramp improvements along various locations within Washington County. The proposed project includes excavation, minor grading, removal of existing sidewalk, new sidewalk and ramp construction, concrete curb, asphalt patching, and turfgrass establishment. All work on this project shall be done in accordance with the MDOT SHA Specifications. • The project classification is Cost Group Letter Class “C,” $500,001 to $1,000,000. • The project duration is 300 consecutive calendar days. • The bidder must agree to commence work within ten calendar days of receipt of written "Notice to Proceed" by the County. • The bidder must also agree to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. • The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding, and to take whatever action is to the best interest of Washington County.
