31 MUNS ISO Containers

The U.S. Air Force is soliciting quotes for ISO Containers capable of meeting the specifications outlined in Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics. The acquisition will be treated as a Local Area Set-Aside, and the Government requires direct delivery and assembly to Aviano Air Base, Italy. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Purchase Order. • The Government is restricting this solicitation to sources capable of performance within the local European theater. • Quotes from stateside vendors will not be considered for evaluation due to high transportation costs and delivery risks. • The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds. • The contract includes a clause regarding the availability of funds, which states that no legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract.
