Description
The City of Orange is seeking qualified contractors to replace existing wheelchair‑access ramps to bring municipal facilities into full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) under its FY 2025‑2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The work will be performed according to the City’s Standard Plans and Specifications and will be awarded as a firm‑fixed‑price public‑work construction contract. Bidders must hold a Class A General Engineering Contractor license, be DIR‑registered, comply with prevailing‑wage rules, and meet HUD Section 3 requirements. A payment bond (or escrow security) is required for contracts exceeding $25,000.
