Description
The Knox County Procurement Division is seeking bids for track resurfacing and re-striping services. The work shall be done in a thorough workmanlike manner and conform to standards for running track construction as prescribed by the American Sports Builders Association. Bidders must provide a certified track builder as designated by the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA). The bid must include the cost for resurfacing track, new rubber surface track, repaving and resurfacing track, and rebuilding track.
• The track surface utilizes specially compounded, pigmented, water-based binders and select rubber granules to provide strength, flexibility, and to prevent ultra-violet degradation.
• An acrylic top coat is applied to further protect against harmful UV rays and to reduce wear.
• The new surface provides a durable, resilient, spike-resistant surface for recreational and competitive use.
• The bidder must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations in any manner affecting the provision of goods and/or services.
• The bidder must provide proof of financial and business capability.
• The bidder must provide a warranty for the work performed.
