Robotic Wire Harness Manufacturing Machines

The Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, intends to award a sole source contract for the lease of two Robotic Wire Harness Manufacturing Machines, including machine documentation, software, and engineering services. The machines should have specific robotic capabilities, mechanical parameters, environmental parameters, electrical parameters, and pneumatic parameters. The contractor will be required to provide documentation, software, and engineering services, including operator and engineering training, advanced operator training, and application engineers and field support personnel. • The machines should be able to perform power wire disposition, data wire disposition, terminations, and protection. • The mechanical parameters include machine dimensions, weight, axis position limits, and axis velocity limits. • The environmental parameters include operating temperature and ambient humidity. • The electrical parameters include voltage, maximum current, frequency, and phase. • The pneumatic parameters include nominal operating pressure, input thread, and filtration. • The contractor will be required to provide documentation, including operators manual, maintenance manual, installation documentation, and training material. • The contractor will also be required to provide software to operate the machines, including compatible software for Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM).
