Description
The City of Revere, Massachusetts, is inviting sealed bids for the McKinley School Renovations and Addition project. The project includes selective demolition, renovations of existing construction, new addition work, conversion of present fossil fuel equipment to fossil fuel free equipment, and site improvements. The estimated total project value is $36,000,000.00. Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of General Building Construction. A pre-bid meeting and site visit are scheduled for 10/30/2025 at 11:00AM EST.
• The project requires bidders to submit a bid deposit of 5% of the bid value.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material (Payment) Bond.
• The City of Revere reserves the right to reject any bid if it determines that the bid does not represent the bid of a person competent to perform the work as specified.
• The project is subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, including Chapter 30, Section 39M, and Chapter 149, Sections 26 through 27D.
• The project requires compliance with the provisions of Chapter 306 of the Acts of 2004 regarding OSHA approved safety and health training.
