Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide window coverings, including site verification, delivery, and installation, for the newly renovated 48-hour observation wing at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. The requirement is for a brand name only, Mecho/5x manual shade system. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to satisfy the needs of each ordering activity. The contract will include a project management fee, installation, and a warranty period.
• The contractor must provide a completed copy of the Section B Price/Cost Schedule item information.
• The contractor must provide layout for window shades based on site verification.
• The contractor must provide installation drawings and perform installation services.
• The contractor must ensure that all items are free from defects and that the installation is complete and ready for use.
• The contractor must provide a warranty for the items and services provided.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection.
