Design Services for Flood Mitigation Projects in the Southeast Lakes Basin

The City of Orlando is seeking qualification statements from consultants to provide professional engineering services for flood mitigation projects in the Southeast Lakes Basin. The project aims to reduce flood risk to the streets, parking lots, and buildings on the 65-Acre Orlando Health Downtown Campus. The scope of work includes tasks such as conditions assessment, conceptual design, construction plans and specifications, project administration, and post-construction services. The selected consultant will be required to work with the City to develop a project schedule and submit it for review. The project is estimated to take 66 months to complete. • The consultant will perform a review of existing conditions, including site conditions, City utility maps, and as-built drawings. • The consultant will develop preliminary plans for drainage improvements within project limits. • The consultant will complete construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for the drainage improvements. • The consultant will provide project administration, including project setup, administration, management of subconsultants, QA/QC, schedule tracking, and more.
