Engine Hose Fabrication

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to provide custom fabrication, assembly, and fitting services for new marine hoses for the Over The Horizon - IV (OTH MK4) and Long Range Interceptor (LRI) vessels. The contractor must perform the services to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) specifications to ensure optimal system pressure, leak-free performance, and maritime safety compliance. The scope of work includes fabricating, assembling, and replacing specific hoses, as well as performing hydrostatic pressure and leak testing of all completed hose assemblies. Key aspects of the job include: • Fabricating new marine hoses and fittings to exact material and safety specifications • Inspecting existing hose fittings and fuel service lines for damage or defects • Replacing fittings and assembling new hose assemblies • Performing hydrostatic pressure and leak testing of completed hose assemblies • Ensuring all work is done in accordance with OEM and MPC specifications • Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
