Description
The State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture is soliciting bids to supply a comprehensive list of native and commercial tree, shrub, and nut seeds totaling approximately 33,000 lb for delivery to the East Tennessee Nursery. Vendors must be registered in the Tennessee Edison supplier portal, provide unit prices for each seed species, certify compliance with a series of statutory and de‑barment questions, and ship the entire order to the designated nursery by July 28 2026. The contract will be a 12‑month agreement with a possible 180‑day extension, and the award will be made to the lowest‑cost responsive bidder.
• Supply ~33 000 lb of 51 distinct seed species (oak, hickory, pine, fruit, etc.) with quantities fixed per line item.
• All seed must meet USDA‑APH 727 quality standards, be packaged in ≤100 lb sealed containers, and be shipped FOB destination to 9063 Highway 411, Delano, TN.
• Vendors must be registered in the Edison portal, provide sales/use tax documentation, maintain required insurance, and certify compliance with the Iran Divestment Act and other state statutes.
