Description
The Tobyhanna Army Depot is seeking companies to participate in a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for paving materials, including cement. The scope of work involves material purchases and delivery associated with the repair and maintenance of asphalt surfaces at the depot. The contract will be for a five-year ordering period, with individually funded, firm fixed-price task orders. The contractor must provide materials that meet PennDOT Standard 408/2020, and all work must be performed during normal working hours, unless approved in advance. The contractor is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all safety regulations and standards. Some key aspects of the job include:
• Providing paving materials, including cement, for the repair and maintenance of asphalt surfaces
• Ensuring materials meet PennDOT Standard 408/2020
• Performing work during normal working hours, unless approved in advance
• Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all safety regulations and standards
• Coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all aspects of the contract
• Complying with environmental regulations, including those related to air pollution, asbestos, and hazardous materials.
