Description
The Department of the Air Force is seeking a contractor to repair NSN: 6105-01-315-0540 FD, a direct current motor. The contractor shall furnish all facilities, parts, materials, equipment, and services required to inspect and, if necessary, restore the item to serviceable condition. The scope of work includes test, teardown, and evaluation, as well as repair. The contractor must be qualified prior to being considered for award, and must meet the standards specified in the qualification requirements.
• The contractor shall perform visual, mechanical, and electrical testing of the end item and its components.
• The contractor shall identify all components requiring repair or replacement and report this information to the Procurement Contracting Officer.
• The contractor shall perform the repair or replacement of all failed parts and components, and return the item in serviceable like-new condition.
• The contractor shall include a DD1348-1 with each returned asset.
• The contractor shall comply with all applicable contract clauses and regulations, including those related to payment, delivery, and inspection.
