Single-prime licensed general contractor to renovate the36,000 SF, two-story Business Administration Building(constructed in 1969) located adjacent to the main campusentrance. The renovation will create a student-centeredservice model by consolidating multiple departments into amore integrated, accessible approach. Early demolition andabatement have been completed.To be considered, the contractor must:- Hold a current North Carolina general contractor'slicense.- Meet all applicable bonding requirements.- Obtain an application package from the UNCP website atthe URL above.- Demonstrate experience on comparable projects similar incomplexity and contract value to the scope described above,preferably within an active university campus setting.So that the selection process is as objective as possible,from the date of this public announcement, do not contactmembers of the Board of Trustees, Campus Officials, and/orstaff other than the project contact.
