HOSE ASSEMBLY

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking a contractor to provide hose assemblies for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The hose assemblies must meet specific requirements, including a minimum working pressure of 300 PSI and a maximum working pressure of 400 PSI, as well as a burst pressure of 1400 PSI. The hoses must also have a minimum bend radius of 24 inches and be resistant to weather, oil, solvents, and mild acids. The contractor must provide a written certification that the hose assemblies have been hydrostatically tested at 285 PSIG with clean, fresh water for 30 minutes with zero leaks and/or bulges. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation factors. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. • The contractor must provide a detailed technical specifications sheet for review and acceptance by the Technical POC. • The contractor must provide a breakdown of pricing in a separate document from the technical capability. • The contractor must have a Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) account to receive payment.
