EASTWOOD ROAD MEDIAN IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Wilmington is seeking a single‑prime contractor to execute comprehensive median improvements along Eastwood Road (US 74/76) from Rogersville Road to Cavalier Drive. The scope includes grading, removal and replacement of existing asphalt, installation of reinforced concrete pipe culverts, concrete curbs and gutters, drainage structures, traffic‑signal upgrades, pavement markings (paint and thermoplastic), signage, safety fencing, erosion‑control measures, and extensive landscaping (seeding, mulching, and 18‑month maintenance). The contract is a lump‑sum with unit‑price items; the construction period is 150 calendar days from notice to proceed, with liquidated damages of $530 per day for overruns.
