The Texas Military Department is soliciting qualifications from prime professional architectural and engineering firms for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support design and construction phase services for projects statewide. The IDIQ will have an initial term through September 30, 2028, with up to three one-year renewal options. Selected firms will be required to execute an IDIQ Selection and Participation Agreement, but this does not guarantee assignment of any work.
Some key points about the job and scope of work include:
• The A/E must demonstrate the capability to self-perform at least three core Architectural/Engineering Services disciplines and provide a demonstrated history of subcontracting for the balance within the past three years.
• Other Related Professional Services can be provided with the A/E's own forces or through qualified professionals subcontracted to the A/E.
• The A/E shall not rely solely on information provided by others without independent professional verification where appropriate to the standard of care.
• The services to be supplied by the selected A/E(s) include detailed on-site investigations, development of cost estimates, presentation of findings to the Owner for review and approval, and preparation of detailed construction plans and specifications.
