Description
The St. Charles County Government is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of the existing slate roofing system at the St. Charles Executive Building. The project includes the removal of approximately 100 squares of existing slate roofing, all associated copper flashings, inlaid gutter systems, downspouts, and related sheet-metal components. The work is being required due to hailstorm damage in March 2024. All work must be completed in 2026.
• The existing copper dome and low-slope roof areas are not included in the scope of this bid.
• A mandatory meeting will be held at the Executive Building on 1/16/2026 at 9:00 AM.
• Bidders must submit two signed copies of their bid, with one being an original.
• The successful bidder must agree to provide and maintain insurance during the life of the contract.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
