Description
The City of Winston-Salem is seeking bids for Corrugated Metal Pipe per detailed specifications included in this document. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and insurance applicable to perform the service in accordance with the specifications. The contract period shall be from the date of award through December 31, 2026. Deliveries shall be made by truck F.O.B. destination at the Streets Construction Storage Facility, City Yard, 650 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Winston-Salem, N.C.
• The contractor must comply with all provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and all rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.
• The contractor must indemnify the City from and against all claims, suits, damages, costs, losses, and expenses in any manner arising out of, or connected with, the failure of the Company, its subcontractors, agents, successors, assigns, officers, or employees to comply with the provisions of the ADA or the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.
• The contractor must not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, political affiliation, gender, age, or disability.
• The contractor must provide equal opportunity for subcontractors to participate in all of its subcontracting and supply opportunities, if any, under this contract.
