6515--EDWARDS LIFESCIENCES LLC HEART VALVE CONSIGNMENT ITEMS

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to Edwards Lifesciences LLC for the provision of prosthetic surgical implant heart valves and annuloplasty rings on a consignment basis. The contract will have a base plus four (4) ordering periods and will be awarded as an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The William S. Middleton VA Hospital has a requirement for brand name only, varying sizes of Edwards Lifesciences LLC prosthetic surgical heart valves and annuloplasty rings for patients. • The contract will be for a single award with a consignment agreement delivery method. • The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) § 3304(a)(5) and 38 U.S.C. § 8123. • Interested parties may give written notice to [email protected] by 17:00pm CST on 01/23/2026. • Responses will be considered by the Government, but a determination not to compete the proposed acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government.
