Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking a quotation for the supply of sealing compound, specifically polysulfide sealant, in a two-part kit with a base and activator. The kit should have a minimum remaining shelf life of 85% of the total shelf life at the time of receipt. The contractor must provide the date manufactured on the shipping invoice or product labeling. The supplies will be inspected and accepted at the destination, which is DLA Distribution, Government Representative, Receiving Dept, Code Z0S, 667 Safeguard St, Bldg 167-1, JBPHH, HI 96860-5033.
Some key points to note:
• The quotation should include the price, FOB destination, point of contact, tax ID number, unique entity ID, CAGE code, and GSA contract number (if applicable).
• The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting an invoice and through final payment of any contract.
• The Government reserves the right to make an award on any item for a quantity less than the quantity offered.
• The contractor shall furnish the required data no later than five days prior to the scheduled shipment date.
• The contractor shall comply with the instructions provided for shipping, including the use of parcel post and commercial small parcel carriers.

• The item should be a polysulfide sealant, two-part kit with a base and activator.
• The kit should be 1-quart in size.
• The item should have a part number of PR-1770 C-336 and be manufactured by PRC-DESOTO INTERNATIONAL INC.
• The shelf life of the item should be 9 months, extendible.
• The contractor should provide a copy of the literature/specifications for the item if it is an "or equal" brand.
