2025 Channel Repair Program

The City of West Des Moines is seeking bids for the 2025 Channel Repair Project, which involves repairing deteriorated storm sewer infrastructure, impaired streambanks, and protecting infrastructure at five locations in the City. The project includes removing and replacing or resetting new pipe and apron sections, brick manhole lining, replacement of a manhole structure, and other related work. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The project is expected to commence within 10 days of the written notice to proceed and be completed by September 30, 2026. • The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all technicalities and/or all irregularities. • The project involves furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements. • The kinds of materials, estimated quantities, and work to be done for the project are shown on the bid proposal. • All work is to be done in strict compliance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by WHKS & Co.
