Invitation to Bid – Rotary Positive Displacement Blower System

Central Alabama Water is seeking a vendor to provide a complete rotary positive‑displacement blower system (new or refurbished) for its Western Filter Plant, including motor, accessories, instrumentation, SCADA integration, installation, startup, testing, and a minimum 12‑month warranty. The contract is a sealed‑bid procurement with a one‑year initial term and possible extensions. Bids must be submitted by the deadline and will be opened publicly. • Provide a full blower system (Sutorbilt 8000 Series or equivalent) with 150 HP motor, accessories, and control instrumentation. • Integrate the equipment with CA Water’s SCADA/DCS using Allen‑Bradley or Schneider PLCs, supplying all analog/digital I/O and tag lists. • Deliver, install, test, and start‑up the system at the Western Filter Plant, then offer a 12‑month warranty and post‑installation support.
