Description
The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks is seeking bids for the purchase of a new airboat motor. The motor must meet the specifications for the Marine Power LT4 AirPac Engine 6.2 Liter DILT4. The winning bidder will be responsible for the removal of the existing motor and installation of the new motor. The contract term is a one-time purchase, and the motor training and warranty will be provided by the awarded vendor.
• The airboat motor must be a Marine Power LT4 AirPac Engine 6.2 Liter DILT4
• The motor must be controlled by a MEFI 7 ECM the Direct Injection
• The motor must be a brand new authentic GM LT4 Marine Base Engine
• The motor must have a 1.7L Eaton R1740 TVS Supercharger
• The motor must have direct injection for maximum fuel efficiency
• The motor must have a performance aluminum exhaust system
• The motor must have a top mount rear entry starter
• The motor must have forged pistons and crankshaft
• The motor must have a hydraulic roller camshaft
• The motor must be EPA and Carb certified
The awarded vendor will also be required to provide motor training and warranty, which includes delivering the airboat to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks with all instructional manuals and transferable warranty paperwork, going over the features and general operation of the new airboat motor, and making sure the operating and receiving officers are completely satisfied with the airboat motor and comfortable with its general operation.
