Description
The US Air Force is seeking proposals for the remanufacture of the F108 Module 13/15 and Module 14 Low Pressure Turbine Assembly. The qualification requirements for this acquisition include being a government-approved source for each NSN specified in the FOPR and submitting an acceptable proposal to solicitation FA8122-26-R-0007. The contractor will be responsible for acquiring all component parts from Air Force approved vendors, Government inventory, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved vendors, or commercial inventories approved by the USAF and/or OEM.
Some key points to consider:
• The NSN for the LPT Stage 1 Blades has been corrected to 2840-01-466-7430.
• Offerors are not required to obtain the Stage 1 blades from Fedmall, but can purchase them if available.
• Offerors should provide a firm fixed price for the Stage 1 blades based upon OEM pricing if they are not available from Fedmall.
• The solicitation and FOPR response time will not be extended due to the amendment.
