Description
The Chemung County Purchasing Department is seeking bids for the construction of sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and gutters in various locations throughout Chemung County. The work includes site preparation, tree and stump removal, site clean-up, and restoration. The successful bidder will be required to provide proof of New York 811 Excavator Training & Education Program. The contract term is for one year with an optional additional year renewal.
• Construction of sidewalks, driveways, and detectable warnings on pedestrian facilities must be in accordance with NYSDOT Section 608.
• Construction of curbs and gutters must be in accordance with NYSDOT Section 608.
• The contractor must provide a bid security in the amount of $500.00 in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft, or Bid Bond.
• The County of Chemung reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted and to waive any informality.
